Looks great for occasional windsurfers like me living not that close from water playgrounds. Can it also be used as a standard SUP ? More of this please 🙂
is it noob-friendly? or should i buy a hard board for the first one?
now i dont have one…yet… but i think this is the best thing to happen to windsurfing in a long time.Portability, a key , but now portable with a 25 knots of serious planing speed, ( speed quote from windsurf mag) Starboard has got it right !! it is the water release , a quantum leap IMHO, provided by the band of material on the back of the board that makes this design so great. cant wait to try one, which means i guess i’ll have to buy one. No more roof racks , and a board i can ricochet my head on !! The kids can hammer at it all day and friends can fall off or better yet on it learning.
It looks very promising. Hope to see more videos regarding the board stiffness at planning speeds. I have an inflatable windsup with dagger board and it sails pretty good. Best of things you can roll it up and store it in any corner of your apartment. Please keep posting more videos and reviews !!
