AQSS Performance Longboard Review ft Beau Young

The all new AQSS Performance Log has been painstakingly designed to allow for both nose riding and top to bottom turns.

The Performance Log is much more refined than its big brother the Vintage Log and features a lighter weight construction. The longboard revival is now in full swing and a lot of shortboarders are realising the full potential of having a performance longboard amongst their quiver to handle the typical conditions we find on the Australian coastline.

This superb performer contributes most of its success to its bottom concaves and rocker which in essence is the board’s true secret. With a deep concave under the nose to create lift, refined pulled in tail area with deep double vee, this board caters to both the traditionalist as well as the more progressive surfer.

High-end PU blanks and lamination keep these boards nice and light. The 2+1 fin set-up allows you to quickly swap out centre fins, which will help you pick and choose the way you want the board to respond in accordance to the conditions Mother Nature presents you with. The rails replicate that of a high-end performance shortboard and this is reflected in the responsiveness and speed this model generates from initial take off.

The Performance Log has proven itself time and time again both competitively and recreationally to be a great performer.
