2013 Old Skool Surfboards “Kook Boxes & Classics” – Pleasure Point, California

A huge Pleasure Point crowd watched in awe at this years “13th Annual Log Jam” sponsored by the Big Stick Surfing Association. “Old SkooL Surfboards” team riders put on a classic exhibition as they rode vintage surfboards in waist high surf and bright sunshine… The “Kook Boxes and Classics” exhibition heat featured Hawaiian style, all wood “Alaia” surfboards, a 1930 “Kook-box” hollow chambered surfboard, a modern chambered balsa surfboard, a “Koa” style solid wood board and “Old SkooL Surfboards” deluxe 10 foot Hollow and 14 feet six inch Hollow…This years event also marks the 30th Anniversary of the “Big Stick Surfing Association”, founded in 1983.
